We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of menu development, kitchen management, and team leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement innovative seasonal menus, working closely with the Chef Owner to create signature dishes and specials that showcase fresh, high-quality ingredients.
  • Oversight of all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, ensuring consistency and precision in every dish.
  • Lead and mentor a diverse kitchen staff, providing training on techniques and consistency, and conducting regular performance reviews to foster professional growth.
  • Manage inventory and ordering of specialized ingredients, developing relationships with suppliers to secure the best products and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Implement and uphold rigorous quality control standards, conducting regular tastings and kitchen audits to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation regulations while maintaining culinary standards.
  • Assist in monitoring food costs and labor efficiency, ensuring the kitchen operates within budget while delivering exceptional dishes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a high-volume, professional kitchen, with at least 3 years in a leadership role as a Sous Chef or higher.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a kitchen team in a fast-paced environment, fostering a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and respect.
  • A passion for culinary innovation and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to develop unique flavor profiles and presentations.
  • Strong verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with both kitchen and front-of-house staff, ensuring seamless service.

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year
