Job Summary

SRC Automotive, Inc. is a leader in the remanufacturing of engines used in the Automotive, Marine, Natural Gas & Oil and Power Systems industries. We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team.

The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for managing customer communications, solving customer issues, monitoring and assisting in company strategy relating to the customer, and collaborating with the customer to ensure satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be self-assured and confident in a variety of settings, and have a high level of energy and motivation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer communications and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor and assist in company strategy relating to the customer, including identifying and recommending appropriate SRC solutions to customer needs/problems.
  • Collaborate with the customer to ensure satisfaction and manage conflict with customers to ensure superior customer satisfaction.
  • Communicate customer needs across all departments to ensure SRC delivers on customer expectations on part delivery, quality, pricing, and billing.
  • Manage and log customer interactions with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • Develop strong relationships across multiple departments within the customer's organization.
  • Identify opportunities with the customer through market intelligence, customer calls, and feedback to deliver solutions to the customer.
  • Represent SRC and its customers at organizational, trade, and customer trade shows and Expos.
  • Quoting new programs and products to maximize profitability for the organization.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School diploma or GED, Bachelor of Science degree is preferred in a business or technical discipline, or two years of related experience in lieu of each one year of formal education.
  • Two (2) years of successful customer relations experience preferred.
  • Experience in automotive, industrial or/and marine markets is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-assured and confident in a variety of settings.
  • High level of energy and motivation.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task by balancing/prioritizing 5-10 projects at any given time.
  • Requires effective relationship management skills with co-workers in a team environment and with customers in a sales and support context.
  • Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities.
  • Requires the desire to expand personal competencies and capabilities through training and education.
  • Computer literacy/experience required. Must be proficient in Windows environments. Working knowledge of word processing, PowerPoint, spreadsheets, and e-mail.
