District Sales Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the district. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a group of Territory Managers, directing them to close deals, penetrate existing accounts, and acquire new ones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to Territory Managers to achieve profitable sales and case growth objectives.
- Lead a group of Territory Managers to achieve Division sales, penetration, and churn reduction objectives.
- Research, develop, and maintain long and short-range sales plans.
- Direct Territory Managers toward high-quality leads and assist them in warming leads and closing deals.
- Submit and administer annual street sales operating plans and operating budgets.
- Leverage Sales Coordinators to reduce time on administrative tasks and resolve TM and customer issues.
- Assist in coordinating product cuttings and demonstrations, and develop sales and marketing strategies for customers.
- Communicate sales data to contribute to product/service planning and assist in planning district sales meetings and events.
- Understand and utilize Sales Foundations tools and processes to grow sales, generate additional revenue, and maintain customer service standards.
- Recruit, train, and mentor new hires and existing Territory Managers.
- Oversee, manage, and assess Territory Manager performance to plan regularly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of five years of foodservice sales experience and two years of supervisory experience.
- Valid driver's license required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as customer service and presentation abilities.
- Proficient computer skills, preferably in Microsoft Office products.
