Job Summary

This is an outside sales position responsible for promoting Sysco's products and services, building relationships with new and existing accounts, and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts to achieve profitable sales growth and special objectives
  • Research customer business needs and develop a mix of products and services to meet those needs
  • Provide product information and practical training to customer personnel
  • Manage deliveries to the routing schedule published by the transportation department
  • Collect accounts receivable and troubleshoot any problems that occur during the order process

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related discipline
  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in the foodservice industry
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
