Job Summary: As an Account Manager at Brenntag, you will be responsible for managing sales efforts in your assigned territory to maximize sales and profit. You will utilize frequent face-to-face and/or telephone contact in a consultative sales approach to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet sales objectives and focus on customer retention and satisfaction.
- Identify customer potentials and engage relevant stakeholders to drive growth.
- Set strategies and targets for customer growth in assigned territory.
- Conduct customer visits and prepare meetings using available tools and reports.
- Liaise with stakeholders to create solutions for customers and extract maximum value.
- Act as primary point of contact for customers in assigned territory.
- Conduct market studies on potential new product opportunities.
Requirements:
- Post-Secondary Education with a focus in Business, Science, or equivalent.
- Experience in the chemical distribution business, preferably in a sales capacity (3 to 5 years previous experience in sales role).
