About the Role

Aon is seeking a highly skilled Account Executive to lead discussions and provide strategic advice to internal and external colleagues and clients. This role is responsible for supporting clients in understanding and managing their risks, and designing and implementing strategies to achieve their risk management goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the coordination of multinational clients in Latin America, ensuring seamless execution of risk management strategies.
  • Retail and grow Aon's business by cultivating relationships with senior client decision-makers and day-to-day client contacts, leveraging expertise in risk management and insurance.
  • Facilitate critical relationships between clients, Aon, and insurers, driving business growth and revenue.
  • Ensure overall account profitability with a value-based approach, analyzing data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Negotiate Aon compensation for services, leveraging strong negotiation skills and industry expertise.
  • Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for client service teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Educate clients on risk management, risk transfer, market issues, and relevant trends, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Serve as a trusted business adviser on all pertinent issues, offering strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Drive the renewal process and develop client-specific renewal strategies, ensuring seamless execution and maximum revenue.
  • Directly and through teaming with originators, drive client penetration and new business, leveraging expertise in risk management and insurance.
  • Establish themselves as a self-starting leader within an account team, demonstrating strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Negotiate terms with key market contacts, leveraging strong negotiation skills and industry expertise.
  • Communicate and compare quoted results with clients, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
  • Manage input to and follow-up on invoicing and receivables process, ensuring timely and accurate payment.
  • Ensure account data supports the integrity of company accounting and tracking systems, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Manage expenses, ensuring effective budgeting and cost management.
  • Maintain a current P&C brokerage license, adhering to industry regulations and standards.
  • Follow Aon's guidelines and procedures, ensuring compliance and adherence to company policies.
About You

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in risk management and insurance, with a proven track record of driving business growth and revenue. They will be a strategic thinker, with excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Bilingual - fluent Spanish and English, Portuguese is a plus.
  • Experience working with International insurance.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in the insurance industry in related segment.
  • Analytical thinker, highly collaborative, and able to deliver under required deadlines.
  • Proven collaboration skills enabling the candidate to successfully lead broking teams and leverage thought leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute complex projects and transactions.
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills.
  • Strong and deep network relationships.
  • Proven strong negotiation skills with carriers.
  • Adaptable problem solver.
  • Experience using management reports and analytics to identify opportunities and impact results.
  • Consistent achievement of assigned territorial or practice goals.
  • Track record of attracting, retaining, and developing top talent in the industry.
  • Product development or programs and facilities development experiences.
  • Evidence of ability to become proficient in the use of Aon specific software tools.
