Job Summary

The Patient Services Representative is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for ensuring seamless patient experiences from registration to discharge. As a key point of contact, you will provide exceptional customer service, handle sensitive patient information with discretion, and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Register patients, collect demographic and insurance information, and verify eligibility
  • Schedule appointments, manage waitlists, and coordinate with healthcare providers
  • Process preauthorization requests, collect copays, and manage patient accounts
  • Scan documents into electronic medical records (EMR) and maintain accurate filing systems
  • Provide empathetic and informative support to patients, families, and caregivers
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; certification and licensure a plus
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and other administrative software
