Patient Services Coordinator Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in maintaining a patient-centered focus, ensuring high-quality care delivery, and meeting or exceeding patient satisfaction and financial/operational targets.
  • Oversee daily schedule and operations of assigned areas/groups, serving as the liaison between staff and managers/physicians.
  • Develop and maintain APM templates and master schedules, manage day-to-day planning, operations, and problem-solving.
  • Communicate changes, resolve work queues and/or issues from front-end reports, and prioritize recovery of missing charges.
  • Act as the communication link between the group and management, disseminating information and forwarding it back up to management.
Credentials:
  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 3+ years Medical office experience (required)
  • Advanced degree (Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's) may be considered in lieu of experience.
