About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Coordinator to join our team at Pennsylvania Medicine. As a key member of our Access Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily schedule and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management: Oversee the daily schedule and operations of assigned areas, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with staff and management.
  • Patient Focus: Maintain a patient/customer focus and deliver high-quality care, adhering to regulatory standards and best practices.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support as needed, including developing and maintaining schedules and templates, running financial reports, and resolving work queues.
  • Performance Management: Monitor and coach performance metrics, ensuring staff are meeting expectations and providing opportunities for growth and development.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with management and staff, participating in interviewing and training new hires, and providing feedback and coaching as needed.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Experience: 3+ years of medical office experience
  • Credentials: Advanced degree preferred
