Affinity Executive Search is representing a premier organization in the laboratory equipment and services sector, seeking a Sales Engineer to join their dynamic South Region sales team. This role is pivotal in fostering business expansion for Process Instrumentation across multiple states.

Your ideal location is near a major metropolitan area within the designated territory.

The compensation package for this role includes a base salary ranging from $78,000 to $88,200 annually, along with an uncapped commission structure that rewards performance from the outset, complemented by bonuses for surpassing sales targets. Comprehensive benefits, a profit-sharing contribution to your retirement plan, and a substantial anniversary bonus every five years are also part of the offering.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities while effectively managing current client relationships.
  • Deliver presentations to diverse audiences, including senior executives, production leaders, and technical staff.
  • Assess potential opportunities, craft proposals, and finalize sales agreements.
  • Engage in travel (up to 50-60%, including overnight stays) for client meetings, product demonstrations, and installations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in technical sales, particularly in process instrumentation.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, alongside strong presentation capabilities.
  • Ability to operate autonomously with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • A bachelor's degree in a natural science or engineering discipline is preferred.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and passport is essential.
