Job Summary

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative II to provide clerical and administrative support in our licensed clinics. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for handling high-volume patient coordination and complex scheduling tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer and triage calls, directing patients to the appropriate individuals or departments.
  • Schedule and authorize appointments, surgeries, and ancillary services.
  • Perform insurance verification functions to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Process and track incoming and outgoing referrals, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist in all work assignments, providing exceptional support to our patients and staff.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with insurance companies and obtaining authorizations.
