About the Role

Cedars-Sinai is seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our medical network, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient relations, accurate communication, and outstanding customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide positive patient interactions and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage patient registration, appointment scheduling, and payment collection with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Assist with the management of physician schedules and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Process and track referrals and authorizations for various insurance types.
  • Monitor and assess workflow to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two years of experience in a patient service role preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
