Patient Service Representative

As a Patient Service Representative at Cedars-Sinai, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and support in our medical network. Your primary responsibility will be to interact with patients in a positive and professional manner, ensuring their needs are met and their experience is exceptional.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to patient inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Check-in and out patients, collect co-payments, and reconcile payments.
- Schedule appointments and complete patient registration.
- Provide a high standard of patient service through active listening, empathy, and effective communication.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest policies, procedures, and regulations affecting patient care.
- Participate in daily huddles and staff meetings to ensure open communication and teamwork.
Requirements
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Two years of experience working as a Patient Service Representative in an outpatient medical office setting is also preferred.
