Pediatric Patient Services Representative

The Patient Services Representative II provides exceptional patient-families experience at Children's Hospital Los Angeles by performing various clerical tasks, including answering incoming calls, registration, and patient check-in/out procedures, collection of patient co-pay or deductibles, scheduling and verifying patient appointments.
Responsibilities include completing financial clearance and authorization duties, serving as administrative support for assigned providers, and working closely with providers to ensure follow-up care is completed.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent telephone manner, strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively deal with the public.
Minimum Qualifications:- 1-year experience in a medical front office setting
- 3+ years in a medical office setting preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
High school diploma or GED required
Pay Scale Information:$38,272.00-$65,062.00
Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on education and experience within the job or the industry.
Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed specified qualifications and requirements.
