POSITION SUMMARY

The Strategic Marketing Manager is a seasoned "T-shaped marketer" with a successful history of delivering measurable outcomes for businesses ranging from $2M to $50M. This role involves guiding 12-15 designated clients of Cardone Ventures to reach their ambitious growth objectives by crafting strategic insights, developing branding initiatives, and managing a marketing overhaul that drives customer engagement.

This individual will act as a de facto Chief Marketing Officer, spearheading efforts to enhance the brand's visibility in the market, pinpointing marketing-specific key performance indicators (KPIs), and effectively facilitating customer engagement through a comprehensive marketing strategy.

KEY OBJECTIVES

  • Establish a marketing strategy and effectively implement it to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to foster the development of clients' marketing teams.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to assess the effectiveness of marketing strategies and refine tactics to optimize customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Finance, Human Resources, and Professional Development, to create monthly strategies, quarterly plans, and annual roadmaps for clients.
  • Offer strategic guidance and expertise in the creation, execution, and evaluation of marketing plans.
  • Develop annual marketing budgets in collaboration with the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Finance Advisor to ensure alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Design, implement, and assess promotional campaigns across various channels, including direct mail, digital content, print advertising, and special events.
  • Provide insights and expertise in analyzing performance data to evaluate campaign success.
  • Advise on building marketing infrastructure, technology stack, and processes to support long-term scalability.
  • Assist in implementing foundational marketing elements, such as customer personas and brand positioning.
  • Encourage a marketing-centric culture within client organizations by expanding initiatives and providing necessary training and resources.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES

  • Experience in developing integrated marketing strategies that combine digital and traditional marketing approaches tailored to client needs and budget constraints.
  • Moderate financial acumen to create complex marketing budgets in collaboration with the Finance Advisor and the ability to analyze data for informed decision-making.
  • Proficiency in advising clients on optimizing CRM software automation to enhance lead conversion and customer retention.
  • Ability to measure marketing campaign performance and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong skills in Excel, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and Facebook Ads Manager.
  • Consultative approach with the ability to communicate high-level insights from complex data sets.
  • In-depth understanding of analytics and data reporting tools.
  • Proven track record of leading comprehensive marketing campaigns that yield measurable results.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in marketing, sales, and management, preferably in a consulting role.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
