As a pivotal member of our Indirect/Channel Marketing team, the Channel Marketing Strategist will play a crucial role in empowering our key partners to effectively reach potential clients through targeted marketing strategies and go-to-market initiatives. Your contributions will be instrumental in identifying new opportunities, expanding our pipeline, and enhancing customer relationships.
In this dynamic role, you will oversee the timely and successful execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring they meet established objectives and performance metrics. You will articulate Nextiva's marketing strategies and growth initiatives to partners and partner managers, fostering strong relationships and serving as a trusted marketing consultant. Your primary objective will be to boost partner engagement with Nextiva's marketing programs, driving demand and accelerating pipeline growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Development: Lead the field marketing strategy to achieve quarterly pipeline goals in your designated region. Create and manage comprehensive marketing plans spanning 6-12 months to enhance the performance of targeted Nextiva channel partners.
- Campaign Oversight: Ensure that marketing initiatives are executed efficiently, within budget, and to high standards. Provide regular updates to channel marketing and sales leadership regarding the effectiveness of demand generation activities, events, and other marketing efforts.
- Partner Engagement: Collaborate with channel sales and marketing teams to identify and recruit new partners for marketing initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and partner managers, acting as a trusted marketing advisor.
- Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with the broader marketing team to ensure successful program execution. Partner with sales, product, and corporate marketing teams to align marketing strategies with Nextiva's business objectives.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct ongoing marketing assessments and reviews with channel leaders, partner managers, and partners. Provide continuous reporting to channel marketing and sales leaders to demonstrate the results of demand generation programs, events, and other marketing activities.
- Partner Advocacy: Represent the voice of partners to channel and marketing leadership, advocating for improvements in our marketing initiatives and sharing best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in channel or field marketing, ideally within the Telecom or SaaS sectors.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
- Marketing Acumen: Strong grasp of market segmentation, brand management, marketing communications, and database marketing.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation abilities. Capable of conveying complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Project Management: Proven project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills with a talent for building positive relationships with team members and partners.
- Adaptability: A proactive approach to working in a results-oriented environment, with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced setting. Willingness to travel as needed.
