ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking proficient Mechanical Assembly Specialists to join our dynamic team at the Wausau facility. In this role, you will collaborate within a team-oriented environment to establish workstations and assemble large-scale motors and generators according to client specifications, prioritizing Safety and Quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to assembly instructions to insert, install, wire, and connect components for generators.
- Utilize computer systems to access part schematics and determine assembly techniques.
- Execute preparation tasks for shipping requirements related to generators.
- Conduct complex assembly operations, often employing various hand tools and small power equipment.
- Review work instructions, basic schematics, and setup guidelines for assembly processes.
- Verify part numbers on components and materials utilized in the assembly process.
- Set up workstations for staging material kits and basic machine configurations as needed.
- Perform quality checks for defects, including visual inspections and the use of measuring instruments.
- Inform the team lead of any quality deviations to ensure timely corrections.
- Complete all necessary documentation and paperwork accurately for the parts and processes executed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to read and understand established safety, quality, and assembly procedures.
- Previous experience as an assembler in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Consistent attendance and reliability.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time
COMPENSATION: Starting at $19.00 per hour

WORK SCHEDULE:
- 10-hour shifts (Monday to Thursday) with overtime opportunities
- Day shift (5 AM to 3 PM)
