POSITION: GENERAL ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

We are seeking experienced Assemblers to contribute to our operations. The role involves working collaboratively in a team setting to prepare workstations and assemble large motors and generators according to customer specifications, prioritizing Safety and Quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Adhere to assembly instructions for inserting, installing, wiring, and connecting components for generators.
  • Utilize computer systems to access part drawings and determine appropriate assembly methods.
  • Complete preparation tasks for shipping generators.
  • Execute complex assembly tasks using various hand and power tools.
  • Review work instructions and basic schematics to guide assembly processes.
  • Verify part numbers and materials for accuracy during assembly.
  • Set up workstations for staging material kits and basic machine settings as required.
  • Conduct inspections for defects, utilizing visual checks and measuring tools.
  • Report any quality deviations to the team lead to ensure prompt corrective actions.
  • Accurately document all completed parts and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to comprehend established safety and quality procedures.
  • Previous experience in assembly within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Consistent attendance record.
JOB TYPE: Full-time

SALARY: Starting at $19.00 per hour
