POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking proficient Assembly Technicians to enhance our operations at the Wausau facility. The role involves collaborating within a team to establish workstations and assemble large-scale motors and generators according to client specifications, prioritizing safety and quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As an Assembly Technician, your duties will include:

  • Interpreting assembly instructions to install, wire, and connect components for generators.
  • Utilizing computer systems to access technical drawings and determine assembly techniques.
  • Executing preparation tasks for generator shipping.
  • Conducting complex assembly operations using various hand tools and small power equipment.
  • Reviewing work instructions and basic schematics to guide assembly processes.
  • Verifying part numbers and materials for accuracy in the assembly workflow.
  • Setting up workstations for staging material kits and basic machine configurations.
  • Performing quality checks on assembled products, including visual inspections and measurements.
  • Communicating with team leads regarding any quality discrepancies to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Completing all necessary documentation related to parts and processes accurately.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Ability to comprehend and follow established safety and quality procedures.
  • Experience in assembly within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Consistent attendance and reliability.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time

SALARY: Starting at $19.00 per hour
