Position Overview:

We are in search of a dynamic and seasoned Vice President of Sales to lead our expanding team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee global sales initiatives, marketing strategies, and product innovation, driving sales growth while providing hands-on leadership. Your extensive experience in sales and business development will be crucial in achieving our ambitious growth objectives through direct sales channels, distributors, and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage all commercial functions, including global sales, marketing, and product innovation.
  • Formulate and execute effective sales strategies, guiding the sales team towards meeting corporate objectives.
  • Establish competencies and processes necessary for a high-performing sales organization.
  • Lead through clear communication of vision, coaching, and development while monitoring sales performance against targets.
  • Manage sales operations, budget oversight, compensation structures, and incentive programs.
  • Ensure effective recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of sales personnel.
  • Provide oversight through field evaluations, performance assessments, and salary reviews.
  • Identify industry trends, delivery system changes, and competitive dynamics to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  • Achieve or exceed established sales forecasts on a regular basis.
  • Foster collaboration with other departments (Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, etc.) to address critical business challenges and opportunities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated success in sales and marketing, particularly in driving sales growth.
  • Hands-on experience with direct sales, distributors, and channel partnerships.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Strong understanding of market research methodologies and analytical techniques.
  • Solid grasp of performance reporting and financial management processes.
  • Commercial acumen combined with a strategic approach.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
