Position Overview: We are seeking a Custodial Services Manager to oversee custodial operations for a significant government agency. This role is vital in delivering a broad spectrum of operational support services across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison for all custodial service needs at designated government facilities.
  • Lead and manage custodial personnel across various shifts and locations.
  • Design and implement work schedules, ensuring all staff are trained in effective custodial practices.
  • Conduct inspections, generate reports, and present findings to management.
  • Maintain security of equipment and property, reporting any incidents or hazards to senior management.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure custodial operations align with service demands and quality standards.
  • Foster a strong relationship with clients to promote a collaborative business environment.
  • Regularly meet with clients and partners to review operational performance and logistics.
  • Develop corrective action plans as necessary to maintain service levels.
  • Prepare and submit performance reports to clients and higher management.
  • Maintain discipline among staff and address any issues as they arise.

Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in managing custodial services for large, secure facilities.
  • Familiarity with ARCHIBUS Computerized Maintenance Management System is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and diverse environment.
  • Experience managing both in-house and subcontractor staff.
  • Knowledge of labor union regulations and the Service Contract Act.
  • A degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Technical knowledge of facility maintenance, including mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
