EMCOR Government Services is seeking a highly skilled Custodial Services Manager to lead our custodial operations supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) headquartered in the Washington National Capitol Region (NCR).
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for all custodial services requirements at NGA Washington locations and facilities, leading and managing the custodial staff at all sites and locations, across multiple shifts.
- Schedule Development and Implementation: Develop and implement schedules, direct work, and ensure all custodial staff are properly trained in the full spectrum of safe and efficient custodial operations.
- Quality Control and Assurance: Inspect work, generate reports, present information to the project management team, and ensure custodial operations meet service demands, objectives, and quality and safety requirements.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain an effective relationship with the customer to achieve a mutually beneficial business relationship, meeting regularly with the customer, vendors, and subcontractor partners to discuss logistics operations, performance, schedule, and budget.
- Problem-Solving and Corrective Action: Develop and implement corrective plans of action and milestones designed to return service and performance levels per contract requirements, and maintain good order and discipline among the staff, taking corrective action when necessary to address issues or concerns.
- Clearance and Experience: Current Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility, and at least 5 years of experience managing custodial services in support of a large, secure complex (> 1 M square feet) comprised of multiple facilities at multiple sites, including data centers.
- Leadership and Management Skills: Highly developed leadership, management, supervisory, interpersonal, analytical, and communication (oral and written) skills, with demonstrated ability to manage in a diverse and dynamic environment with short-notice tastings and under high-pressure situations.
- Education and Certifications: A bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Facility Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Structural), or another related field, and strong technical knowledge of facilities maintenance and operations, including complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, structural systems, vertical transportation, and data center operations.
