Position Overview: We are seeking a Custodial Services Manager to oversee custodial operations for a significant government agency. This role is crucial in delivering a variety of operational support services, including maintenance, logistics, and project management across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison for custodial service requirements.
  • Lead and manage custodial personnel across various shifts.
  • Develop and implement work schedules and ensure staff training in custodial operations.
  • Conduct inspections, generate reports, and present findings to management.
  • Maintain security of equipment and facilities, reporting any incidents to senior management.
  • Manage inventory and procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with service demands and quality standards.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure mutual satisfaction.
  • Regularly meet with clients and partners to discuss performance and logistics.
  • Implement corrective action plans when necessary to meet service requirements.
  • Prepare and submit performance reports to clients and management.
  • Maintain discipline among staff and address any issues promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Current Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing custodial services in large, secure facilities.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines.
  • Experience managing both in-house and subcontractor staff.
  • Experience with labor unions and service employees under the Service Contract Act.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Technical knowledge of facilities maintenance and operations is advantageous.
  • Valid Driver's License is required.
