  • Provide quality control and compliance reviews to ensure a winning submittal that aligns with the client's evaluation and selection criteria.
  • Take personal responsibility for the toughest, most complex, and competitive opportunities.
  • Effectively support the technical team's response efforts through customized solutions that maximize individual strengths and capabilities.
  • Embrace and leverage technology to support process improvements.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with the technical team to effectively coordinate during proposal submissions.
  • Identify relevant solicitation opportunities across all Galloway disciplines and markets.
  • Identify and help lead best practices and process improvement initiatives.
  • Implement company image/brand guidelines on assigned projects.
  • Coordinate and create interview presentations and content as needed.
  • Coach technical team for interview preparation.
  • Lead post-RFP debrief meetings and ensure lessons learned are documented.
  • Create and capture new and updated content to refresh the database library, including project descriptions, resumes, and boilerplate write-ups.
  • Track proposal pursuits, including wins/losses and time allocation.
  • Support other marketing activities and special projects as needed.
  • Mentor and train junior staff, as required.
Requirements:
  • Possess advanced understanding of the proposal response process.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of technical writing principles, practices, and standards.
  • Analyze complex issues and use sound judgment and experience to develop solutions.
  • Use effective communication and negotiation skills to guide, influence, and coordinate others.
  • Work well within a team environment.
  • Work effectively under pressure and under challenging deadlines.
  • Be willing to adjust work schedule as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Possess intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign, as well as the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Be detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Effectively multitask.
Education/Licensure:

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or equivalent experience through career progression.

APMP certification is desirable.

Years of Experience:

Ten-plus years of experience in written marketing communications and the proposal response process.

Benefits:

The estimated starting base salary for this role is $110,000-$125,000.
