Position Overview:

We are currently looking for a Quality Management System (QMS) Compliance Auditor to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring adherence to our QMS across various facilities. The auditor will conduct thorough assessments of programs, processes, manufacturing areas, and engineering labs to verify compliance with established standards and procedures. The auditing process encompasses planning, executing, reporting, and following up on corrective actions as per our comprehensive audit schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize knowledge of quality management systems to ensure effective measurement, control, and continuous improvement.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies and internal leaders to discuss compliance status and address any issues.
  • Coordinate with Compliance Site Leads to facilitate communication and drive organizational change.
  • Conduct audits through interviews and examinations of objective evidence, standards, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to plan and execute internal audits effectively.
  • Assist in managing external audit activities related to the QMS.
  • Ensure timely completion of audits and address any identified issues.
  • Report on audit findings, trends in corrective actions, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain an audit-ready culture across all sites.
Required Qualifications:
  • A University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years in a relevant field, or an Advanced Degree with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Certification as a Quality Auditor (e.g., AATT, AS9100 Lead Auditor, CQA).
  • Experience with ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality requirements and relevant defense regulations.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Broad understanding of processes that may be assessed during audits.
  • Familiarity with the Raytheon Corrective Action System.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to foster relationships and collaborate effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools.
