Position Overview:

We are currently looking for a Quality Management System (QMS) Compliance Auditor to join our team. This role will be based in Woburn, MA, and will focus on conducting comprehensive audits across various programs, processes, and manufacturing environments to ensure adherence to RTX's QMS and internal policies. The auditing responsibilities encompass planning, executing, reporting, and following up on corrective actions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct audits to evaluate compliance with organizational quality management systems, ensuring effective measurement, control, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with various agencies and internal leaders to address compliance issues and program status.
  • Coordinate with Compliance Site Leads to facilitate communication and drive positive organizational changes.
  • Plan and execute audits by gathering evidence through interviews, document reviews, and examinations of standards and regulations.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including customers, to organize and conduct internal audits.
  • Assist in managing external audit activities related to the QMS.
  • Ensure timely completion of audits and address any identified issues.
  • Communicate audit findings and trends effectively to relevant stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of audit readiness across all sites.
Required Qualifications:
  • A University Degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.
  • Certification as a Quality Auditor (e.g., AATT, AS9100 Lead Auditor, CQA).
  • Experience with ISO 9001/AS9100 quality standards and regulations applicable to aerospace and defense.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of the domains and processes relevant to audit assessments.
  • Familiarity with RTX's Corrective Action System (RCAS).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to foster compliance and drive process improvements.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
