Our comprehensive application process allows you to be considered for all New Graduate RN positions across our facilities.
We are pleased to offer a Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time night positions in various nursing units, including Progressive Care, Step-Down, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry. Please consult with our recruitment team for details.
The Centerpoint Medical Center Residency Program is designed to provide you with essential hands-on experience, enabling you to cultivate critical clinical skills. As a Graduate Nurse Resident, you will benefit from a nurturing environment filled with experienced nurse educators and fellow residents, facilitating your transition from student to registered nurse.

Job Responsibilities
The RN Resident will deliver high-quality, patient-focused care, adhering to departmental standards and practices. Collaborating with healthcare providers, the RN Resident will offer individualized care, utilizing established nursing frameworks.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assessing patient conditions upon admission and throughout shifts, reporting any changes.
- Administering procedures and medications as prescribed, documenting care accurately.
- Responding promptly to patient needs and educating patients and families about care plans.
- Advocating for patients and ensuring a compassionate care experience.
Qualifications Required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of employment
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required prior to start date
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse status in the state
- No prior experience necessary
- Local travel may be required for training purposes
