Nurse Residency Program

Role Responsibilities
The RN Resident is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care tailored to the specific needs of the department, adhering to established standards of practice.
In collaboration with healthcare providers and the care team, the RN Resident will:
- Assess patient conditions upon admission and throughout each shift, identifying and communicating any changes in status.
- Execute medical procedures and monitoring as directed by healthcare providers.
- Document care provided in the patient medical record accurately and promptly.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patients for therapeutic responses.
- Proactively address patient needs and respond to requests in a timely manner.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of employment
- An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- A valid Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse status in the state
- No prior experience is required
