This Residency Program spans one year, offering hands-on training to cultivate essential clinical and critical thinking abilities. Key Responsibilities
The RN Resident is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-focused care in alignment with departmental requirements and nursing standards. Collaborating with healthcare providers and team members, the RN Resident ensures comprehensive and compassionate care by following established nursing protocols.
Essential Duties:
- Evaluate patient conditions upon admission and throughout shifts, promptly reporting any changes.
- Execute medical procedures and document care in patient records accurately.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
- Provide exceptional service by addressing patient needs proactively.
- Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year of employment.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing by the start date.
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse status in the relevant state.
- No prior experience required.
- Local travel may be necessary for training during the initial orientation period.
