**Job Summary**
Vets Hired is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Director of Business Development and Growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strategic partnerships with our clients to drive business growth and expansion.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and recommend client-specific account strategies and goals, with a focus on building strong relationships with healthcare agencies and organizations.
- Create and implement strategic and tactical plans to support client engagement and drive business growth, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in the field, providing guidance and leadership on our company's strategy-to-action plans and assisting in achieving key milestones and driving growth.
- Identify, qualify, and support the capture and closure of business opportunities in collaboration with our business and capture teams.
- Act as a customer advocate, identifying mission needs and representing the customer's perspective to drive business growth and expansion.
- Promote our company's capabilities to potential clients and partners, highlighting our expertise and value proposition.
- Support overall strategic planning and align our pursuits and capture activities with our business development metrics for awards, submissions, and pipeline.
- Conduct market research, including analyzing customer preferences, competitive analysis, and evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of incumbent contractors.
**Requirements**
- Proven track record of success in business development and strategic partnership management.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and market trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
