Position Overview: Autonomous Systems Field Test Manager

We are seeking an Autonomous Systems Field Test Manager to supervise the evaluation of our tailored sensor systems under real-world conditions. If you are driven by the importance of delivering timely and actionable insights, you will align well with our team's mission to enhance our nation's capabilities. In this capacity, you will collaborate with a diverse group to develop and execute test events that meet project objectives and advance state-of-the-art technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, schedule, coordinate, and implement field tests for various autonomous system initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with leaders, engineers, and stakeholders to plan and execute test events that fulfill the requirements of all parties involved.
  • Leverage your expertise in autonomous systems to create test events that align with project goals, including decisions on flight patterns, communications, and other relevant factors.
  • Document test procedures and protocols to ensure thorough planning and execution of test events.
  • Participate in test events in various capacities and assist in managing test logistics.
  • Analyze test results, provide insights, recommendations, and capture key learnings from each test event.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of military experience related to autonomous systems development, testing, or operations.
  • Proven organizational skills and experience in coordination roles.
  • Strong writing and editing skills for developing plans and summaries.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and work independently.
  • Experience collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to various test locations and manage logistics as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of military experience in autonomous system development, testing, and operations.
  • Experience in field logistics, including security, shipping, and hazardous materials.
  • An active Top Secret security clearance.
  • Increased willingness to travel to different test locations and handle logistical challenges.
