As an Autonomous Systems Test Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting research and developing innovative methodologies for the testing and evaluation of AI and autonomous systems, including performance assessment, trust evaluation, and certification processes. Key research areas encompass live-virtual-constructive simulations, runtime assurance, performance metrics, real-time performance analysis, and complex systems evaluation.
- Creating test requirements, safety protocols, testing methodologies, analytical techniques, and execution strategies for intelligent combat systems.
- Participating as a key member of the testing team, facilitating software, hardware, ground, and flight testing of AI and autonomous systems, including operations at remote sites.
- Providing expert consultation on testing strategies, plans, timelines, and capabilities to ensure successful program outcomes.

- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Possess a minimum of five years of relevant experience in test engineering.
- Have a track record of developing test plans and reports, along with supporting live testing events.
- Are proficient in creating analytical tools and techniques using programming languages such as Python or MATLAB.
- Exhibit strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Are willing to travel within the continental United States to various government and defense contractor sites.
- Can obtain an Interim Secret level security clearance by your start date and ultimately achieve a Secret level clearance, with eligibility requiring U.S. citizenship.

- Possess a Master's degree or higher in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Have experience in the testing and evaluation of unmanned aircraft.
