We are seeking an Autonomous Systems Field Test Manager to supervise the evaluation of our tailored sensor systems in practical scenarios. If you are driven by the importance of delivering timely and actionable insights, you will align well with our team's mission to enhance our nation's capabilities. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse group to design and execute test events that align with project goals and contribute to the progression of cutting-edge technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, schedule, coordinate, and execute field tests for various autonomous system initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with leaders, engineers, and stakeholders to plan and implement test events that fulfill the requirements of all parties involved.
- Leverage your expertise in autonomous systems to develop test events that align with project objectives, including decisions on flight patterns, communications, and other pertinent factors.
- Document test procedures and protocols to ensure thorough planning and execution of test events.
- Participate in test events in various capacities and assist in managing test logistics.
- Analyze test results, provide insights, recommendations, and capture key learnings from each test event.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of military experience related to autonomous systems development, testing, or operations.
- Proven organizational skills and experience in coordination roles.
- Strong writing and editing skills for developing plans and summaries.
- Ability to effectively multitask across multiple projects and work independently.
- Experience collaborating with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to various test locations and manage logistics as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10+ years of military experience in autonomous system development, testing, and operations.
- Experience in field logistics such as security, shipping, and hazardous materials.
- An active Top Secret security clearance.
- Increased willingness to travel to different test locations and manage logistical challenges.
