Our West Coast Clubs Division encompasses venues such as Exchange, Academy LA, Time Nightclub, Bloom, and Nova SD.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of the Marketing Support Specialist is to assist the Marketing department in implementing the marketing strategy while managing administrative and social media tasks. This role involves promoting our events across various social media platforms, creating engaging content, and supporting the Marketing Coordinators and Managers with organizational tasks. This position is based in our Glendale, CA office and requires travel to venue locations as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform daily administrative duties to ensure the smooth operation and coordination of departmental activities.
  • Assist the marketing team in organizing projects such as college and influencer outreach, promotional events, and experience activations at club shows.
  • Attend club events to manage social media postings, create content, and facilitate activations.
  • Contribute ideas and create content for brand awareness initiatives, including viral videos and engaging posts.
  • Collect weekly insights on social media performance and marketing trends across various platforms.
  • Respond to direct messages, comments, and inquiries on social media to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.
  • Engage in other special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in marketing or the music industry.
  • Active user of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel, Google Docs & Sheets.
  • Familiarity with electronic music artists/DJs and the associated culture.
  • A strong desire to work in the entertainment sector.
  • Self-motivated, task-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • This is an in-office position located in Glendale, CA.
  • Office hours are Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6:30 PM.
  • Must be able to tolerate high noise levels and busy environments at venues.
  • May encounter extreme temperature conditions at venues.
  • Willingness to work during holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed to meet project deadlines.
