Job Summary:

We're looking for a Part Time Field Sales/Outside Sales Representative to acquire new Starry subscribers and drive our success in multi-family residential properties, communities, and condos. As a sales professional, you'll be responsible for educating potential customers about the features and benefits of Starry Internet and selling our service door-to-door.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advocate and educate potential customers about Starry Internet
  • Meet and exceed sales goals by identifying potential sales, product, technical, or customer care issues and addressing them with your local teams
  • Identify, source, and attend potential subscriber acquisition opportunities to achieve your personal goals
  • Sell with relevancy and charm, without being pushy

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales, preferably in field or direct sales
  • Eager to sell door-to-door
  • Positive, upbeat personality with no fear of talking to strangers
  • Self-motivated, initiative-driven, and problem-solving mentality
  • Ability to help guide consumer decision-making processes, close sales, and help prospects choose Starry over other internet provider alternatives
  • Ability to work flexible hours, mainly weekdays 4-8pm and weekends 10am-4pm, with variable schedules as necessary
  • This position requires driving a personal vehicle on behalf of Starry, so you'll need a valid driver's license in the state of your residence and a safe driving record
