Job Overview:

The Consumer Products Analysis Manager will be essential in shaping strategic business decisions through comprehensive analysis and reporting.

This role involves the collection, examination, and interpretation of data concerning consumer products, market dynamics, and overall business performance.

The ideal candidate will possess robust analytical capabilities, a profound understanding of consumer products, and the skill to convey intricate information effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Examination & Reporting:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data to inform business strategies and customer engagement.
  • Create and sustain regular reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Detect trends, patterns, and insights from data to offer actionable recommendations.

Consumer Insights Research:

  • Utilize available consumer data and research to comprehend consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Analyze market information to pinpoint opportunities for growth and enhancement.

Business Performance Evaluation:

  • Assess the performance of our brands and new offerings, providing insights into sales and market share.
  • Conduct variance analysis to compare actual performance against benchmarks.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, global innovation, and finance, to deliver analytical support.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Process Optimization:

  • Identify and implement process enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of reporting and analysis activities.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for reporting processes and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Master's degree or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or a related field within the consumer products sector.
  • Demonstrated experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Proven experience with data sources: Nielsen, Circana, Retailer POS data, and Numerator.

Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Knowledge:

  • In-depth understanding of the consumer products industry, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Familiarity with financial principles and performance metrics.

Salary Range: The salary range for this role is $85,000 to $110,000.
