Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee product costing activities, ensuring compliance with related materials set.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing and supply chain teams to ensure accurate product costing and reporting.
  • Assist in the Annual Budget process, focusing on materials costing analysis and review.
  • Execute the annual cost roll for SAP and JDE products.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and maintain proper documentation.

Major Duties:

  • Develop standard costs in SAP and JDE.
  • Provide accounting insights for new material setups, ensuring all necessary information is accurately assigned.
  • Maintain the integrity of existing standards through continuous review and validation.
  • Support the annual standard setting process, delivering timely standards aligned with budget guidelines.
  • Conduct actual cost validation checks for New Product Developments (NPD) at critical stages.
  • Work cross-functionally with the NPD team to provide ad-hoc costing analysis for various business needs.
  • Maintain internal controls and ensure proper documentation.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary schedules and documentation.
  • Assist with system and reporting requirements.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

  • Understanding of product costing in a manufacturing context.
  • Experience with SAP and JDE is highly preferred.
  • Previous experience in developing standard costs or project management is advantageous.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Good understanding of internal controls/SOX.

Minimum Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
  • MBA, MAC, CMA, or CPA is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
