About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Sales Expert to join our Amazon Web Services (AWS) team. As an Aerospace Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of cloud services among commercial and government customers in the satellite and space industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively manage the full sales cycle from initial inquiry to closure, meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan to increase awareness and adoption of AWS services.
  • Create and articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services to accelerate customer adoption.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and work with partners to extend reach and drive adoption.
  • Manage contract negotiations and develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide exceptional customer service.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of full sales cycle, technology sales, or equivalent business development experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud services or in the Satellite Communications Sector or Ground Segment Industry.
  • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or equivalent certification.
  • Technical acumen, sales, and listening skills.
  • Ability to think and act independently within a fast-paced multi-task driven environment.
  • Experience with CRM (Salesforce.com preferred) and web-based meeting applications (e.g. Chime).
