Job Overview

In the sectors of marine engine services and backup power generation, we provide extensive maintenance, repair, and overhaul solutions.

Role Summary

As a Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the direction, coordination, implementation, control, and successful completion of essential service projects. This position demands exceptional attention to detail and the capability to prioritize and manage several projects concurrently, ensuring they align with the organization's strategic objectives, budgetary constraints, and overall goals.

Compensation Package
  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000, commensurate with skills and experience.
  • Eligible for a Short-Term Incentive (STI) Bonus Plan: 15% of base salary.
  • Travel Expectations: Up to 25%.
  • Reimbursement for relocation expenses is available.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute critical projects for the service team.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Assess resource requirements across multiple service branches.
  • Coordinate and manage administrative tasks with service administration teams.
  • Ensure compliance with budget, profitability, and efficiency standards.
  • Create and track project status reports.
  • Document work and commissioning activities to meet compliance standards and mitigate risks.
  • Develop best practices for future project management endeavors.
  • Act as a liaison between factory representatives, contractors, and clients.
  • Facilitate planning and logistical coordination for project transitions between sales and service.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Proven expertise in project management.
  • Proficient in project management software.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Experience and Education
  • Preferred degree from a university, community college, or trade school, or equivalent experience demonstrating project management success and business acumen.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a project manager or in a similar role.
  • At least 5 years of experience in the marine or power generation sectors.
  • PMP certification is preferred.
Additional Requirements
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to travel to customer and project sites, as well as other company locations.
