POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in HVAC systems. This role will involve overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of various projects, including retrofits and new installations. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating resources, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct site visits to assess progress and address any issues that arise.
  • Develop efficient project plans and schedules to optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to provide technical guidance and support.
  • Enhance customer relationships through effective communication and service delivery.
  • Document project requirements and implement plans to ensure successful execution.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate material procurement and oversee necessary inspections.
  • Ensure effective management of field personnel in alignment with project needs.
  • Prepare estimates, change orders, and proposals while understanding contractual obligations.
  • Facilitate communication with customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, changes, and delays.
  • Oversee financial aspects of projects, including billing and subcontractor management.
  • Participate in coordination meetings with general contractors.
  • Support business development efforts by providing insights to the sales team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience in project management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Strong understanding of construction plans and specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with various stakeholders.
  • Willingness to conduct site visits regularly.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Self-motivated with effective time management capabilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the project team.
  • HVAC experience is essential; pipefitting knowledge is a plus.
