  • Straight Talk, TracFone, and Walmart Family Mobile: These brands have a strong presence in Walmart, highlighting our commitment to accessible, high-quality wireless solutions across various retail environments.
  • Visible: Catering to digitally-savvy customers, Visible represents our online-first approach, emphasizing streamlined interactions.
  • Simple Mobile: Recognized as a leading choice among authorized resellers, Simple Mobile has consistently ranked highly in market surveys, showcasing its reliability.
  • SafeLink: Dedicated to providing essential communication services through government subsidies, SafeLink continues to serve those in need.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Manager, Channel Readiness, plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of high-priority initiatives across various brands within the Verizon Value CRO organization. This position collaborates closely with multiple Brand & Distribution leads, as well as teams in Commercial/Implementation, Marketing, Operations, and GTS, to bring products and services to fruition while achieving organizational objectives. The role involves gathering and addressing all downstream execution requirements, keeping teams informed and prepared to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

You will work alongside Commercial, Customer Marketing, and Sales leads to identify business needs and collaborate on project and program development across the brand portfolio. Responsibilities include planning, developing, and delivering core training for pricing, plans, and promotions, tailored to each Brand & Channel. The team also supports the final stages of product launches, coordinating with Channel leads, strategy, operations, and other cross-functional teams. This highly visible role demands strong prioritization, critical thinking, and relationship-building skills to navigate complex work streams and ensure timely delivery. A blend of analytical and tactical skills, along with a commitment to quality and productivity, is essential. You will also create engaging presentations that effectively communicate plans and expected outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in team leadership.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • An MBA or M.S. in a related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or VLSS certification in Green Belt or Black Belt.
  • Ability to thrive in a cross-functional team environment with evolving roles and responsibilities.
  • Strong project management skills with a focus on multitasking.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Ability to engage with all management levels effectively.
  • Exceptional managerial and communication skills.
  • Experience presenting insights tailored to executive audiences and influencing without direct authority.

Work Environment:

This hybrid role includes a defined work location with a combination of remote work and assigned office days.
