THE ROLE
Position: Senior Mixologist
Reports To: Food and Beverage Manager, Restaurant Manager, Food and Beverage Director

POSITION PROFILE:
The Senior Mixologist will collaborate with the Restaurant General Manager to oversee the bar operations within the hotel. This includes curating an exceptional cocktail menu, optimizing the bar layout, and ensuring smooth operational flow. Responsibilities encompass daily setup, breakdown, and maintaining the bar's cleanliness while delivering outstanding service, ensuring guest satisfaction, and achieving company standards for profitability.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare and serve beverages to guests and cocktail servers in accordance with established guidelines and safety protocols.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner, prioritizing guest satisfaction and adhering to legal regulations.
- Enhance bar profitability through effective portion control and accurate charge monitoring.
- Verify guest identification to ensure compliance with legal drinking age requirements. Process payments accurately as per company policies.
- Complete inventory requisitions and maintain accurate supply lists, ensuring compliance with state liquor laws and maintaining established inventory levels.
- Perform all side work duties as per the assigned schedules.
- Assist in maintaining beverage inventories at the primary location, ensuring consistency and accurate record-keeping across all properties.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent experience.
Experience: Six months to one year of experience in a food and beverage service environment.
Skills and Abilities: Proficient in mixing cocktails and providing exceptional guest service. Ability to multitask and effectively manage modern bar equipment. Strong manual dexterity for handling items and balancing trays. Proficient in reading, speaking, and understanding English, with the ability to communicate hotel services to management, staff, and guests.
