As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining multiple classified and unclassified SharePoint Site Collections on DOD365 SPO, Intelink, the Joint Staff Portal, and Shared Drives.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and improve the design and structure of SharePoint Site pages and Team Libraries to support Knowledge Management improvements and capabilities.
- Develop and implement dynamic, maintainable, and sustainable coordinated operation pictures (COPs) for Operations, Administration, and Training using SharePoint-based pages, libraries, lists, and calendars.
- Enforce the information management foundation and structure of multiple Joint Training site collections on DOD365 SharePoint Online (SPO), Intelink, MS Outlook, and other systems and applications as assigned.
- Manage and maintain Library and folder locations on the Joint Staff Portal and Shared Drives.
- Take initiative to regularly evaluate processes and best practices to assess and recommend solutions for the Government customer.
- Provide analysis, recommendations, and develop solutions utilizing SharePoint and Office products, many that can be maintained routinely by division personnel.
- Optimize 'out of the box' capabilities of both SharePoint and MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Promote Knowledge Infusion and provide desk-side, non-technical assistance, familiarity training, implementation, and use of information and knowledge management best practices.
- Current US SECRET security clearance.
- BS or BA in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Business Management, or relevant field of study.
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a SharePoint Administrator or Knowledge Manager.
- Minimum 4 years' experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010, 2013, or 2016.
- Proven proficiency with SharePoint workflows, lists, forms, document libraries, and search.
- Understanding of Microsoft Windows PowerShell scripts for automating tasks and configuration of SharePoint environment.
- Able to work with little supervision in fast-paced dynamic environments and able to supervise work of IT assistants.
- Able to prepare and conduct seminars/work groups, conduct training in large and small groups.
- Capable of remote work with limited supervision.
- Ability to work with Senior Government and Military personnel as well as Contractors from other companies.
- Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Must be able to acquire company travel card.
