Job Title: Senior Property Manager

At 2Life Communities, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Property Manager to join our team. As a Senior Property Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of our properties, including Kurlat House and Ulin House on the 2Life Brighton Campus.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain full occupancy in rental units through effective coordination and allocation of resources.
  • Develop and implement strategies to create an engaging and active community environment that reflects our resident-centric philosophy.
  • Collaborate with the fiscal department to develop an annual site budget for each community.
  • Ensure the effective functioning of each community on a daily basis.
  • Provide oversight of all community-based services and programs.
  • Work with related agency departments to implement new programs, renovations, and pilots.
  • Hire, coach, and supervise community-based staff in a collaborative team-building effort.
  • Maintain good resident relations through active engagement with the Tenant Council/Advisory Committee.
  • Encourage and support new programming to foster a welcoming, inclusive, and empowering environment.
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of current relevant state and federal housing policies.
  • Provide conflict resolution related to resident concerns and relations.
  • Provide leadership on community-related projects, changes, and initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Preferred qualifications include experience managing affordable housing with Low Income Housing Tax Credits and industry certifications such as Occupancy Specialist (COS) and Tax Credit Specialist.
  • Five years of experience managing a housing community or a similar role and/or responsibilities.
  • Leadership capabilities and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and personnel management skills.
  • Proven ability in design, development, and implementation of new programming.
  • Computer literacy.
