Position Overview: Reporting to the Senior Manager of IT Applications, the SAP S/4 FICO Administrator will play a pivotal role in supporting systems activities and projects across designated applications. This position involves designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing application programs with a primary focus on SAP FI, In-House Cash, Coupa, Concur, and Vertex.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert knowledge to the Treasury, Accounting, Finance, and Tax (TAFT) departments, assisting with problem resolution and serving as a resource for training development.
  • Engage in application planning, execution, and support, which includes maintaining, configuring, and updating the system, managing integration, and overseeing the change control process.
  • Deliver functional support, implement new functionalities, and ensure adherence to application standards and best practices.
  • Act as a business process expert, supporting all facets of financial systems.
  • Possess a solid understanding of SAP GL, AP, AR, FM, Automatic Payment, FICO-MM Integration, FICO-SD Integration, Electronic Bank Statement, In-House Cash, Concur, Coupa, and Vertex.
  • Experience in payment processes, establishing closing schedules, closing periods, processing year-end adjustments, carrying balances forward, and handling 1099 processing.
  • Analyze detailed system requirements based on business needs articulated by the TAFT groups.
  • Configure and test modifications to facilitate new system developments, enhancements, and production support adjustments.
  • Provide functional specifications to ABAP personnel for customized modifications.
  • Offer subject matter expertise for impact assessments and testing of SAP Add-on Packs (AOPs) and SAP Release upgrades.
  • Support the creation and execution of Enterprise Test scripts.
  • Investigate issues reported by end-users to the Help Desk, resolve related problems, and ensure ticket closure.
  • Guarantee a successful transition from development to production, including TAFT procedures and tools such as process control points, reports, and automated monitoring.
  • Regularly communicate status updates and escalate issues/risks as necessary, proactively addressing potential problems and obstacles.
  • Collaborate with team members and TAFT groups to identify and prioritize work as needed.
  • Build strong working relationships with individuals across all levels of the organization, including TAFT and IT applications and infrastructure teams.
  • Participate in requirements gathering and the drafting of User Stories or Technical Specification documents.
  • Drive continuous improvements with a focus on quality, stability, usability, maintainability, and ultimately customer satisfaction.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and enhance application programs within a collaborative team environment using various development toolsets.
  • Prepare systems for the monthly close process, including data preparation, process management, and updating system task flows.
  • Ensure timely and efficient execution of monthly close processes across all systems.
  • Provide training for end users as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
