Position Overview:
This role involves long-term contract employment, primarily focusing on SAP applications management. The position is based on a hybrid schedule, allowing for both on-site and remote work flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
The SAP Applications Administrator will report directly to the Senior Manager of IT Applications and will be responsible for supporting various systems activities and projects across designated applications. Key duties include:
- Designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing application programs, particularly in SAP FI, In-House Cash, Coupa, Concur, and Vertex.
- Providing expert guidance to Treasury, Accounting, Finance, and Tax (TAFT) teams to facilitate problem-solving and training development.
- Overseeing application planning, execution, and support, including system maintenance, configuration, and updates.
- Administering the change control process and delivering functional support while implementing new functionalities.
- Acting as a business process expert to support all facets of financial systems.
Essential Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a strong analytical mindset with a focus on quality and logical problem-solving approaches. Required qualifications include:
- Experience in SAP S4 Hana configuration and testing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong emphasis on customer interaction.
- Proven ability to work with end users to translate business challenges into system requirements.
- Experience leading small project segments and coordinating work processes.
- Strong knowledge of SAP FI/CO configuration, integration, training, testing, and implementation.
Additional Skills:
Candidates should also demonstrate proficiency in:
- Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as formulas, pivot tables, and v-lookups.
- Understanding of US GAAP and experience with SAP GL, AP, AR, and related areas.
- Conducting unit testing to ensure applications meet specifications.
- Performing ad hoc analysis and maintaining accurate data.
