Budget and Administrative Coordinator

The Budget and Administrative Coordinator I provides administrative support to the Chief Information Officer and budgetary assistance to the Executive Director for the Office of the CIO.
This role involves administrative tasks such as maintaining the CIO calendar, booking travel, ordering office supplies, and assisting with the creation of purchase requisitions.
This position requires a strong exercise of professional judgment and autonomous work effort, with independent decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:- Skilled in working with various standardized word and spreadsheet software.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and resource management skills.
- Ability to interact effectively and courteously with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Must be able to work independently and meet established or anticipated deadlines.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Experience working in an academic environment.
- Previous experience working for an organizational executive.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc).
