Job Summary

The Diez Group, a leading metal part supplier and logistics center, is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and consistency of our products, adhering to industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining the Document Control System, updating internal documentation for ISO 14001 and IATF 16949, and related controlled documents.
  • Conduct ongoing audits of effectiveness, including containment, sorting, and rework methods.
  • Ensure process conditions are monitored and controlled for product consistency and according to specifications.
  • Perform visual, mechanical, and functional verification of parts to ensure compliance with set specifications and quality standards.
  • Support Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities.
  • Train personnel on proper compliance and adherence to new or updated procedures.
  • Use FMEA and 5S tools to drive continuous improvement within our business.
  • Ensure product and process changes are made only according to the sequence of activities specified in the MSA/CSA process.
  • Maintain all press books and specifications.
  • Assist in updating shift scorecards, trend charts, management review charts, IATF process measurable, and management scorecards.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree preferred, in a related field.
  • Quality experience within the manufacturing industry is a plus.
  • Familiarity with IATF, ISO, Document Control fundamentals, and Quality Management Systems.
  • Auditing experience is a plus.
  • Intermediate knowledge in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • All candidates must be flexible regarding shifts and overtime.
  • Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop staff members.
  • Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to effectively handle multiple tasks at one time.
  • Knowledge of the automotive manufacturing industry and containment processes.
  • Demonstrated flexibility within a fast-paced challenging environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adhere to attendance policy.
