POSITION SUMMARY
The responsibilities outlined below may differ based on specific assignments and may encompass any or all of the following: Executes clerical and technical tasks. Composes and formats reports and correspondence for supervisors. Manages telephone communications, relaying messages and directing calls as necessary. Establishes and maintains an organized filing system for all documentation. Arranges appointments for supervisors. Coordinates appointments for offenders as needed. Prepares movement passes for offenders upon request. Collects, organizes, and distributes daily mail. Monitors and orders office and medical supplies as required. Records minutes of meetings and takes dictation as requested. Maintains a correspondence file for offenders. Gathers information to respond to inquiries. Ensures confidentiality of all correspondence and files. Facilitates clerical support for Telehealth (videoconferencing) clinics as needed. Assists in organizing and sorting staff timekeeping and payroll if requested. Creates documents and utilizes Word and Excel to track various aspects of medical care as required. Analyzes data within Excel to provide medical statistics or reports. Utilizes appropriate software to monitor patient care in accordance with established guidelines. Refers all clinical decision-making to clinical staff or immediate supervisors and does not provide clinical opinions or directions to patients. Aids in the reconciliation process for IDOC/Wexford Health as requested. Performs additional related duties as assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS

MINIMAL: Must successfully complete electronic assessments for Word, Excel, and basic clerical functions.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent.
