Job Title: Director of Human Resources

Audacy is seeking a seasoned Director of Human Resources to join our team. As a key member of our Employee Relations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the execution and success of HR plans, programs, and practices for our business groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance and advice on employee relations matters, ensuring successful partnerships with leadership and employees across the organization.
  • Consult and support managers, ensuring fair and respectful treatment of team members.
  • Coach and advise management on performance management and disciplinary matters.
  • Conduct thorough, objective, prompt investigations on employee relations matters.
  • Point of contact for employees and managers on company policies, programs, and initiatives.
  • Advises and implements employment terminations.
  • Implement various projects and policies in conjunction with the central HR team and other key stakeholders.
  • Guide and support local HR administrative staff with weekly meetings to address and resolve questions and ensure HR initiatives are executed.
  • Partner with legal, finance, HR, and management to facilitate various workforce initiatives.
  • Ensure understanding, consistent application, and compliance of defined policies, programs, and procedures and all state and local employment laws.
Requirements:
  • At least 5-10 years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, and Employee Engagement.
  • Experience with collective bargaining agreements and working with high-profile talent.
  • Union experience required.
  • Must possess knowledge of all state and local ordinances related to employment, as well as federal laws across the United States.
  • Skilled in coaching, mentoring, and mitigating challenging employee issues.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple and competing demands.
  • Track record of leadership, driving accountability across the HR function, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to build trust and good faith with a broad range of stakeholders.
